I got this show desciption from another site ( TNT ) and changed it a bit. I give the base credit to TNT. :)
DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) is a world known highly recomended forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, DC, and also writes books in her free time. When the FBI and Crime Investigators can't quite figure out the identity of a body - when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed so that it is impossible - law enforcement calls in Brennan for her amazing ability to read the victim's bones.
Most law enforcement can't handle Brennan's intelect, her drive for the truth, or her straightforward approach on every case. SPECIAL AGENT SEELEY BOOTH (David Boreanaz) of the FBI is the exception. A former Army sniper, Booth dosen't quite trust science and scientists ( 'squints' as he calls them ), who bend almost all day over physical evidence of a crime. But even he cannot deny that the partnership of Brennan and himself -his social abilities and Brennan's brains- makes them a team almost no one can beat.
Aside from Booth, Brennan is most comfortable with her equally brilliant colleagues at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab. ANGELA MONTENEGRO (Michaela Conlin), an artist who specializes in recreating the face of a victim and impotant componets of a crime scene, is Brennan's down-to-earth BFF; neophyte forensic anthropologist DR. ZACK ADDY (Eric Millegan), who has a genius IQ, is Brennan's socially awkward grad student on an internship; "the bug guy," (What's you poison?) conspiracy theorist DR. JACK HODGINS (TJ Thyne), is an expert on insects, dirt, minerals and elements; and DR. CAMILLE (CAM) SAROYAN (Tamara Taylor), the street-smart Head of Anthropology, must lead all these geniuses. ( What a job. xD )
